This Sea Fossil Ball was cut from a piece of
rough fossil (Jasper), a type of Quartz, then shaped by hand and polished.
Fossils are organic matter that's been infiltrated by a mineral into
the empty cellular spaces left by sea creatures, wood or bone still
retaining much of the original cellular structure. The Diameter of this
Sea Fossil Sphere is just under 2" (5cms) and the circumference
is 6" (approx.). The Surface is smooth with many interesting inclusions.
